Kitchens & Bathrooms in Whalley Range, Manchester

Homes in Whalley Range

Whalley Range is known for its grand Victorian villas, built as one of Manchester's early suburbs, with wide tree-lined roads and big detached and semi-detached houses. Many of the larger houses have since been divided into flats, and there are also streets of Victorian and Edwardian terraces and later homes mixed in.

That makes for some very different projects. In a large period house, it's often about creating a kitchen that suits the scale of the room – high ceilings, big windows and original features – and sometimes reworking a layout that has been changed many times over the years. In a converted flat, the challenge is usually the opposite: making a compact kitchen work hard and fitting a bathroom into an unusual footprint, while planning around shared access and neighbours. Traditional bathroom ranges such as Bayswater and Old London can sit beautifully in period rooms, and we also offer contemporary collections if you'd prefer a cleaner look.
